Weather WisdomWeather Wisdom - Friday, October 9, 2009By Craig Koplien (WTMJ)
On Tuesday, October 13th, our 24-hour weather channel on Time Warner Cable is moving.
For the past couple of years, you've been able to get the TODAY'S TMJ4 STORM TEAM 4CAST anytime on Time Warner Cable Channel 104. Beginning Tuesday, you'll find us on Time Warner Cable Channel 999. Time Warner Cable is shifting many channels to different channel numbers and ours just happens to be one of them. With the shift in channel numbers will come a change to our name. For quite some time, we’ve referred to our weather channel as "TODAY'S TMJ4 WEATHER PLUS". That's out. Time Warner Cable Channel 999 will now be called, "STORM TEAM 4 TV". A couple things won't change. First, you'll still be able to pick up the channel over the air on digital channel 4-2. Second, you will still be able to watch the channel over the internet. You'll find a link on TODAYSTMJ4.COM. Finally, the goal of the channel will remain the same. That is, we will continue to provide you with weather when you want it. Current conditions, long-range forecasts and live radar are only seconds away anytime you tune to STORM TEAM 4 TV. |
