Vintage Guitars At Summerfest
Katie DeLong
MILWAUKEE – Want to find the coolest place at Summerfest?
All you need to do is check out the Columbia Saint Mary’s tent.
It’s got hot music and cool air conditioning.
There are 25 vintage guitars on display, some dating back to the 1950s.
Even the Summerfest performers came by to check out the display.
“Some of the other artists who are playing here have stopped by and checked out the guitars so it’s really generating a lot of interest, not just with the public, but with some of the musicians as well,” John Majdalani of Cream City Music said.
The guitars are worth about $200,000. The most expensive one belonged to Rick Neilson of the band Cheap Trick.
