MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- The boys' tennis teams at Brookfield Central and Marquette advanced Friday to the WIAA Division 1 state semifinals, along with Middleton and Kenosha Tremper.

Brookfield Central (23-2) beat Homestead 5-2 at Nielsen Tennis Stadium in Madison. Brookfield Central will meet Marquette (20-1), which topped Eau Claire Memorial 6-1.

The other semifinal on Saturday pits Middleton against Kenosha Tremper. Middleton (15-7) edged past Madison East 4-3, while Kenosha Tremper (9-4) defeated De Pere 4-3.

The Division 2 matchups on Saturday feature Aquinas (9-3) against University School (4-3), along with Xavier (15-1) taking on Madison Edgewood (14-2).
