(AP) -- The Green Bay Packers are adding depth to their offensive line, agreeing to contract terms with free agent offensive lineman Duke Preston. That's according to Preston's agent, Craig Domann. He confirmed the deal Friday in an e-mail to The Associated Press. Preston, a fourth-round draft pick out of Illinois in 2005, spent the first four seasons of his career with the Buffalo Bills. He started a total of 20 games, including 11 last season. Preston is the second offseason addition for the Packers. They also signed Pittsburgh Steelers safety Anthony Smith. Preston's deal with the Packers was reported on the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Web site Thursday night. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
