Bucks draft Ledo, but trade him for Wolters
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bucks have finalized a trade that brings South Dakota State guard Nate Wolters to the team.
That came half a day after the Bucks initally selected Providence guard Ricky Ledo. They then traded him to the Philadelphia 76ers for Wolters' rights.
Wolters, a 6' 4", 190 lb. guard came to the Bucks in a very roundabout way.
First, the Washington Wizards drafted him with the 38th pick.
Next, the 76ers traded to get him.
Finally, the Bucks traded Ledo and a future 2nd round pick to Philadelphia for Wolters.
There were even reports by the Associated Press that the Bucks were trading Ledo to Dallas, which the Bucks did not confirm.
Wolters became the fourth player in major college history to produce 2,000 points, 600 rebounds and 600 assists in his collegiate career.
