NEW YORK - The Milwaukee Brewers are represented by Carlos Gomez and Jean Segura in the upcoming MLB All-Star Game in New York.
Along with a huge apple with five sausages on it.
Sports On Earth's Amanda Rykoff has done an in-depth story about the normally red fruit which symbolizes New York City, and artwork of every MLB team that has been placed on dozens of overgrown apples throughout the city that never sleeps.
Appparently, she says the Brewers' apple on Park Avenue is the best of the bunch.
Besides both Brewers logos, "the apple also depicts the team’s beloved mascot, Bernie Brewer," Amanda tells us.
"Finally, what would the Brewers apple be without the Racing Sausages? Brat, Polish, Italian, Chorizo and Hot Dog are also there. Bonus points for the location, in front of the Office of the Commissioner (former Brewers owner Bud Selig)."
