Attansio reveals how Brewers have stayed winners in small market

MILWAUKEE - Even in one of the smallest markets in baseball, the Milwaukee Brewers have more-often-than-not found themselves in the thick of a playoff race.
The reason for that, says Brewers owner Mark Attanasio, is the combination of a solid farm system with tweaks in the free agent market.
"We've done a real good job of developing our own guys and keeping them under the tent here in Milwaukee," he told Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Jeff Wagner.
He also said that general manager Doug Melvin has "selectively signing free agents, like Kyle Lohse and Aramis Ramirez."
