MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Tip-off of the University of Wisconsin basketball game against No. 2 Indiana isn't far from the mind of Gov. Scott Walker even as he delivers his biggest speech of the year.

It's not far from the mind of others at Walker's State of the State speech Tuesday, either.

Republican Senate President Mike Ellis mentioned the 8 p.m. start-time of the game as he encouraged those attending the speech to stay on time so no one would miss the tip off.

And Walker ad-libbed his speech to say his sons would be unhappy with him if he didn't finish the speech in time for the game.
