Major League Baseball released the latest National League All Star Voting results Monday and, not surprisingly, Prince Fielder remains the strongest candidate to land a starting spot in next month's game in San Francisco.

Fielder remains in second place, trainiling the Cardinals' Albert Pujols, but has closed the lead to less than 50,000 votes. He trailed by nearly 90,000 votes after last week's results were released.

J.J. Hardy remains a distant second place to the Mets' Jose Reyes for the NL shortstop starting spot.
