Report: Vikings Trainer Visits Favre

By Jay Sorgi

According to published reports, a Minnesota Vikings' trainer visited Brett Favre for the second time in Mississippi, while the team worked on altering its playbook to suit the longtime Packers quarterback.

The Minneapolis Star Tribune states that trainer Eric Sugarman went to Hattiesburg, Miss. to look at the progress of Favre's throwing arm since surgery on his torn biceps tendon.

A source told the paper that his surgery was a complete success, and that there is "little doubt" Favre will take part in Vikings training camp when it starts July 31st.

Additionally, the St. Paul Pioneer Press states that Vikings coaches are customizing the team's offensive playbook for Favre.
