Local SportsPackers Training Camp ScheduleBy By Jay SorgiThe Green Bay Packers have released their plans for their 2009 training camp practice schedule. That means fans get to camp outside the fencing of the Packers practice facility while kids allow Packers players to ride their bicycles to the Packers' locker room. The first practice of the 2009 camp happens on the first day of August, at 2:00 p.m. at Ray Nitschke Field. Most of the practices will remain open to the public throughout the month of August, with the last being on September 1st before the final preseason game. Players will wear full pads for the majority of early practices, then will switch to wearing shells for more practices as the preseason goes along.
Below is the public practice, scrimmage and preseason game schedule for the Packers: First extended week: Preseason Week 1: Preseason Week 2: Preseason Week 3: Preseason Week 4: |
