Report: Favre Family Booked Hotel for GB-Minn. Game at Lambeau

Family and friends of Brett Favre have made preparations for the quarterback's potential return to Lambeau Field in a Minnesota Vikings uniform.

A manager of the Midway Motor Lodge tells the Green Bay Press Gazette that someone close to Favre has blocked off 25 to 30 rooms at the Midway Motor Lodge in Ashwaubenon, near Lambeau Field, for the weekend of the Packers-Vikings game on November 1st.

Hotel manager Doug Warpinski says the booking happened about two months ago, but that they have two more months to cancel the reservations.

The Press-Gazette article also states what ESPN reported on Sunday evening, that Favre did have surgery on his right throwing arm which had a torn biceps tendon.

A report on ESPN.com says the Vikings asked Favre to commit to them by the end of this week, but reports on NFL.com and profootballtalk.com state that no such deadline has been given to Favre.
