Sabathia, Sheets, Shouse Decline Arbitration

Milwaukee Brewers pitchers CC Sabathia, Ben Sheets, and Brian Shouse have declined arbitration, clearing the way for them to sign elsewhere.

All three free agents decline the Brewers' offer by the 11:00 pm Sunday deadline.

Sabathia and Sheets are Class A free agents, meaning that the Brewers would be compensated with two high draft picks apiece if they sign with another team. Shouse, a Class B free agent, would net the Brewers one compensatory pick.
