Garnett, Bogut Punished for Incident

Boston Celtics star Kevin Garnett was suspended for one game for hitting Milwaukee's Andrew Bogut in the face near the end of Saturday's game.

The NBA assessed Bogut with a "Flagrant One" foul, which would bring a larger penalty should he accrue another flagrant foul during the 2008-09 season.

Garnett will sit out Tuesday night when the Celtics host the New York Knicks.
