It's never too early to talk high school hoops and Racine's Jamil Wilson is being hailed as one of the nation's best juniors.
Some people say he might be the best Racine player at this age. That's fine with Jamil Wilson.
"There's always room for improvement," says Wilson. "If I'm going to be the best, I want to be the best to ever come out."
With several big name coaches recruiting him hard, how does this 16-year-old from Racine Horlick, stay so humble?
"I was very well raised" says Wilson. "And you don't get this type of attention, where I grew around."
In fact, Jamil tries to take on Racine's other great hoopster...NBA all-star Caron Butler.
"I always tell him I want to play him one on one," says Wilson. "So far it hasn't really gone my way, but that's all right."
And when will this 6-7 junior to be, make his final decision?
"Before my senior year," he says. "I want to enjoy my last year of kid-dom, as they say, so i can enjoy for the last year."
