Local SportsHall to Miss 4-6 WeeksMILWAUKEE (AP) -- Milwaukee Brewers third basemen Bill Hall is expected to be sidelined four to six weeks with a partial tear of the left calf muscle. The team said the injury was diagnosed Friday -- the same day pitchers and catchers were reporting to spring training camp at Maryvale Baseball Park in Phoenix. The Brewers said Hall suffered the injury Thursday while conditioning on his own. The 29-year-old Hall batted .225 and had 15 home runs and 55 RBIs when he appeared in 128 games for the Brewers last season while splitting time at third base with Russell Branyan.
