Brewers Sign Bush to One-Year Deal

The Milwaukee Brewers avoided arbitration with righthander Dave Bush, signing him to a one-year contract that the Milwaukee Journel Sentinel reports is worth $4 million.

Bush, 29, went 9-10 with a 4.18 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 29 starts for the Brewers in 2008.

Milwaukee has four remaining players who are arbitration-eligible: righthander Seth McClung, first baseman Prince Fielder, second baseman Rickie Weeks, and outfielder Corey Hart.
