Rodgers says advice to 'be yourself' was critical in '08 media storm
SUAMICO - The Super Bowl MVP quarterback of the Green Bay Packers said the best advice he ever received was to simply be himself, and he used it at a time when the media crunch was as huge on the Packers as it had ever been in franchise history - during the post-Brett Favre departure in 2008.
"It was important to me in a situation like 2008, when there were a bunch of circumstances out of my control, and I had to kind of face the media almost daily, and answer similar questions. It just reminded me to stay true to my character and be myself," Rodgers told the Voice of the Packers, Wayne Larrivee, in response to a viewer-submitted question in TODAY'S TMJ4's "Ask Aaron" exclusive.
He also answered a viewer's questions about having a dog as a child.
