Brewers Sell 3-Million Tickets

MILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have again topped three million tickets sold.

The franchise announced it reached the mark Wednesday for the second straight year after setting a franchise attendance record last season.

The Brewers have averaged a little more than 38,000 fans for 65 home games so far this season and sold out 27 games. Last year, the Brewers established a franchise mark at 3,068,458 and reached the postseason for the first time in 26 years as the NL wild card.

This year has been a disappointment on the field with the Brewers entering play Wednesday 64-67, 13 games behind the NL Central leading St. Louis Cardinals and 8 1/2 games behind in the wild card race.
