Mile BidsMILWAUKEE (AP) -- The Wisconsin State Fair Park board will meet Thursday night to review bid proposals from potential new promoters for the financially troubled Milwaukee Mile racetrack. Interim State Fair Park executive director Craig Barkelar says officials are expecting "one or more" letters of intent to be submitted by 3 p.m. Wednesday. The board voted last week to end its partnership with promoter Wisconsin Motorsports, which is believed to owe NASCAR and the IRL several million dollars -- putting the future of the track's two major events in jeopardy.
