Wis. Cycling Series Previews Possible Olympic CourseBLUE MOUNDS, Wis. (AP) -- A new Wisconsin-based bicycle racing series launches Thursday morning, beginning with a taste of the 2016 Olympics. The inaugural Tour of America's Dairyland debuts with the Blue Mounds Race of the Future, an 88-mile race held on the same roads that would be used for the proposed 2016 Olympic cycling road race. Chicago's proposed bid to host the 2016 Olympics includes a plan to hold cycling events in or near Madison. The Dairyland series continues with nine more races this month, including events in Waterloo, Grafton, Manitowoc, Fond du Lac, Sheboygan, Greenbush, Milwaukee's Downer Avenue area and Waukesha.
