Packers Family Night Set for August 8thBy By Jay SorgiThe Green Bay Packers are continuing their tradition of the Family Night intrasquad scrimmage. The team will hold it at Lambeau Field on Saturday night, August 8th, with activities starting at 5:30 p.m. "'Packers Family Night' is one of our training camp's great traditions," said Packers President and Chief Executive Officer Mark Murphy. "Families coming together to watch Packers football on a Saturday night in Lambeau Field is a wonderful experience and something that is unique to our team. We're excited to kick off the season with a special night." The night includes team drills at 6:30 p.m., the scrimmage at 7:30 p.m. and a "Jerseys Off Our Backs" drawing after the game for the jerseys the players wore during the scrimmage. Tickets are $10, $2 more than in 2008, and go on sale June 6th. |
