Dave Anderson Named New WIAA DirectorSTEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) -- Deputy director Dave Anderson of the Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association has been named by the WIAA board to become the next executive director of the group. The WIAA said Wednesday that the 55-year-old Anderson will succeed Doug Chickering after his retirement Aug. 1. Anderson, who lives in Stevens Point, will become only the fifth executive director since the position was created in 1924. The WIAA is the regulatory body for high school athletics in the state.
