James Dean Lives, as a Packer FanBy David Marcus
James Dean is alive and well, and a big Green Bay Packers fan.
He came to Lambeau Field on Saturday, not only to cheer and support his favorite team, but also to promote and sell copies of the song he wrote and performed on CD, "Running From the Pocket." The song is a tribute to who else? Brett Favre.
"I came up with it in my head. I was inspired by Brett Favre and his greatness," said Dean, no relation to the late movie star. "I played it on the radio live...I'm shamelessly promoting myself here."
Dean spent Saturday morning partying with tailgaters outside Lambeau Field and performing what he hopes will be a hit song. He promised our David Marcus that he will sing the song in the TMJ4 studios live, during the upcoming NFL season.
