Brewers Sausages To Hand Out Freebies

The Brewers' Racing Sausages are handing out free tickets and food coupons today.

They'll be around downtown and the East Side looking for people in Brewers gear.

"If they see fans in Brewers gear they're gonna hand out tickets for the reds series for next week and also coupons for free Klements sausages," said Brewer's Executive Vice President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger.

He explained that it's just one of many freebies this year.

Specific Deals: 
• April 27-May 1: Five County Half-Price Tickets (Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington, Waukesha Counties)
• May 12-14: Spring Madness (Half price tickets, hot dogs and soads $1 each)

"There's about 55 dates during the season where we have some kind of ticket discount packages," said Schlesinger.

"We know affordability is the biggest issue for us to promote besides the team on the field given the economy and we are pleased that we again ranked among the most affordable experiences in all of baseball."

The free items today are for the series against the Cincinnati Reds coming up next week.
