WNIT: Illinois State 51, Marquette 50NORMAL, Ill. (AP) -- Kristi Cirone was perfect from the free throw line, hitting her team's final six points and giving Illinois State a 51-50 win over Marquette in a third-round game of the Women's National Invitation Tournament Thursday night. Cirone finished with 23 points and made all 13 of her free throws. She was the only player to score in double figures for Illinois State (26-7). Angel Robinson scored 15 points and Jessica Pachko had 12 for Marquette (17-16). The teams deadlocked at 25-25 at halftime and battled back and forth through the second half. A layup by Pachko put Marquette ahead 48-45 with 2:52 to go before Cirone made two free throws at 2:36 and added two more at 1:56 to give Illinois State a 49-48 lead.
