UW Football Asst. To Return, Three Players To LeaveMADISON, Wis. (AP) -- Wisconsin's football program is welcoming back former assistant coach Henry Mason but will lose three players from last year's team. Badgers coach Bret Bielema says linebacker Elijah Hodge, wide receiver Xavier Harris and quarterback James Stallons will not return. Bielema did not give a reason for Hodge's departure but said he is expected to graduate. Harris is unable to return after having back surgery but remains on scholarship, and Stallons is pursuing a transfer. Mason stopped coaching after a spinal cord injury in 2007.
