Wed. Final: Brewers and A's TiePHOENIX (AP) -- Corey Hart's homer for the Milwaukee Brewers today came off Oakland's Gio Gonzalez as the teams played to a 3-3, 10-inning tie. Bobby Crosby hit a homer for the Athletics off Brewers starter Jeff Suppan. Travis Buck hit a two-run homer for the A's in the fifth. Then Milwaukee tied it in the eighth on RBI singles by Brad Nelson and Chris Duffy. New Brewers manager Ken Macha says third baseman Bill Hall is expected to run the bases for the first time tomorrow. He's recovering from a slight tear in his left calf. Hall has taken ground balls and hit in batting practice. (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press. All Rights Reserved.) |
