(AP) -- The state summer baseball tournament will stay in Stevens Point, instead of relocating to Waukesha. The tournament has been in Stevens Point since 1989, but the WIAA considered moving it to Waukesha because most of the participating teams are from the Milwaukee area. WIAA Deputy Director Dave Anderson says renovation of the field at Frame Park in Waukesha won't be done by July, when the tournament is held. Anderson says he's not sure if the tournament will eventually move closer to Milwaukee. ------ Information from: Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, http://www.jsonline.com (Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press.
