Suns Fire Former Bucks Coach PorterPHOENIX (AP) -- He's a former Milwaukee Bucks coach -- and now Terry Porter is a former Phoenix Suns coach as well. Porter told The Associated Press this morning he was informed of his dismissal in a meeting last night with Suns general manager Steve Kerr. Porter says he's going to wait a few days to gather his thoughts before he says anything. He'll be replaced by assistant coach Alvin Gentry. Porter went 71-93 as Milwaukee's coach from 2003 to 2005. He led the Bucks into the playoffs in his first year. Porter was four months into his first season of a three-year, $6 million contract in Phoenix.
