Packers to Review Ruling Regarding Deaf Fans

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- Green Bay Packers officials are studying a federal ruling that forced a league rival to provide captioning for the deaf in their stadium.

Last week's ruling ordered the Washington Redskins and FedEx Field officials to display captions on scoreboards and video monitors. The captions will cover all announcements, plays and penalties called during the game.

The ruling is limited, but Packers officials say they're studying the case and reviewing what's available at Lambeau Field.

Taylor Koss is a deaf teen from Green Bay. Through an interpreter he tells WLUK-TV it's tough to follow what happens at a game. He says he's always asking his mother to repeat what the announcer just said.
