EAGLE - The summer storm that struck in Wisconsin on Monday night did serious damage to the property of Old World Wisconsin in Eagle, damage that has caused the museum to close for a number of days.

A spokesman for the State Historical Society told TODAY'S TMJ4 HD's Mick Trevey that two of the buildings sustained damage, but the biggest problem involved damage to the landscape,.

The spokesman explained that the Ramsey Barn, a part of the visitor's area, had shingles torn off the building's roof.

The largest problems involve the high number of downed trees that have made the parking lot impassable.

No people or animals were hurt.
