MILWAUKEE - A Milwaukee Police sergeant has been arrested for suspicion of being drunk behind the wheel.

Walter McCullough was arrested early Sunday morning in an alley near his home at the corner of North 91st and West Locust Streets.

He was given municipal citations for operating while intoxicated and having a blood alcohol level above 0.08, and pleaded guilty to both citations.

He has had his driver's license revoked, but he still works for the Milwaukee Police Department out of the District One station.

According to a Journal Sentinel report, Sgt. McCullough was off duty at the time.

A TODAY'S TMJ4 I-Team investigation in 2003 showed that he was off duty at an illegal after-hours party at a bar on Milwaukee's west side.

Several officers were violating Milwaukee Police rules at that party, but Sgt. McCullough was not reprimanded.
