Police Search for Man in Reptile Seizure Case

  • Print

MILWAUKEE - Police on Milwaukee's South Side say they're still trying to talk with the man they think was behind the treasure trove of reptiles uncovered last week.

Animal guru Terry Cullen's been missing since his collection of reptiles was spotted and then hauled out of two locations, including a warehouse Cullen owns.

The illegal and exotic animals included an army of alligators, an array of anacondas and one chicken.

Cullen's business partner has already been locked up on animal cruelty charges, but there is still no sign of Cullen.

Investigators say he's got ties to a number of defunct businesses in the city, but he was last spotted in Connecticut.

The animal raids were a side effect from a sexual assault investigation, but no other details have been released.
