KENOSHA - A woman has died after being shot by an ex-boyfriend in Kenosha.

Alaina Caudill, 26, died in the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound to the head.

Kenosha Police say, Caudill and her current boyfriend were returning home early Saturday when they were approached Caudill’s alleged ex-boyfriend, Christopher Stuart.

A verbal confronted took place outside Caudill’s address on 11th Avenue near 63rd Street.

Stuart then displayed a handgun and threatened to shoot Caudill’s current boyfriend. The current boyfriend fled from the scene and then Stuart turned the gun on Caudill.

Police executed a search warrant on 26-year-old Christopher Stuart’s address later in the morning. Stuart was found dead by an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at 1018 57th Street.
