Germantown Woman Linked to 3 Drug Deaths

PORT WASHINGTON, Wis. (AP) -- Authorities say a 38-year-old Germantown woman charged in the prescription drug overdose death of a Fredonia woman is linked to two other deaths.

Kimberly Sell was charged Tuesday in the death of 21-year-old Kati Lynn Hammen. The complaint says Sell sold methadone to Hammen Dec. 20. She was found dead the next day.

Now, authorities say Sell is a person of interest in the April death of her fiance, Ted Olla, and the December death of Ian Hegmegee of Menomonee Falls. Sell hasn't been charged in either case.

Germantown Police Chief Peter Hoell tells the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that Sell called police April 15 to say she found Olla unresponsive. Toxicology tests found cocaine, methadone and other drugs in his system.

Hoell says Hegmegee was found unresponsive from a cocaine overdose in October at Sell's apartment. He was in a coma until he died Christmas Day.

It was not immediately clear whether Sell had an attorney.
