WAUWATOSA - A teenager who was checking out a Japanese World War II rifle owned by his mom's boyfriend was injured when the weapon accidentally discharged.

Police say the teen was handling the weapon, which the boyfriend thought was not loaded, when a bullet fell out. The boy put the bullet back in the rifle, and it immediately fired, hitting him in the forehead just above his right eye and causing minor injuries.
