Man Found Dead at Franklin Fire Scene
FRANKLIN - Police in Franklin say that the body of a man has been found at a location where a fire happened.
Authorities found the body Monday night at a home on the 7200 block of South 36th Street.
Fire crews had extinguished a fire there after it started around 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The Wisconsin State Fire Marshall is joining Franklin police and fire investigators in looking into the cause of the fire.
Damage is estimated at about $80,000.
