An Estate Sale Like You've Never Seen

MUKWONAGO - It's an estate sale like you've never seen before. A 5,000-square-foot house is filled with boxes of brand new items now for sale. You name it, it's likely here. There are toys, trinkets, sports items and collectibles, thousands of them.

"This one is over the top. I thought I saw everything after 28 years," Tom Ewart, Open House Estate Sales President, said.

The owner, who lived alone, planned to open a gift shop during his retirement years, but he lost his battle with cancer at the age of 52. Now his colossal collection is for sale – just sooner than expected.

"The dollar invested here is staggering," Ewart added.

Most items are brand new, still in its original packaging. Bingo games from decades ago are just some of the items.

"To have the original box, never opened and representing 30 to 40 years ago, this is a collectible," Ewart said.

Every room in the house is filled with items, including the garage, basement and all three bedrooms. And that's still not enough room.

"There's tons of stuff that has not been unpacked because we have nowhere to go with it. There's still more surprises…we're just running out of room," Ewart explained.

The house is for sale too. The estate sale starts Monday, February 8 at 10 a.m. and runs through Wednesday, February 10. It's located at S84 W30555 Chestnut Drive in Mukwonago.

An added bonus is everyone who attends will receive a $10 off coupon to use if you spend $50.
