Snowmobile Accident Victim Remembered
There was a huge turnout to remember a teenage girl killed in a snowmobiling accident.
Chelsey Lobenhofer's young life ended out on a lake about 200 yards from the boat landing. It's also where family and friends gathered for a candlelight vigil for the high school senior.
17 year Chelsey Lobenhofer was killed one week ago while snowmobiling on Phantom Lake. Friends and family, including her mom and step dad returned to the lake to remember her life.
Chelsey wanted to go to college to be a nurse, she liked helping people. Wednesday, friends helped her family cope with the horrible tragedy.
Students are also selling t-shirts so they can buy a guardian angel for her grave site.
They expect to sell a lot of shirts.
Friends say this was the first time she ever went snowmobiling. She was not wearing a helmet when she was ejected from the sled that was trying to make a quick stop.
