AirTran To Add 100 Jobs in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - AirTran Airways is adding more jobs in Milwaukee.
The company announced that it will add 100 jobs based in Milwaukee: 50 pilot positions for Boeing 737's and 50 flight attendants for both 717's and 737's.
AirTran says it will employ more than 300 crew members in the city by April of next year.
"As we continue to grow our Milwaukee operation, we have reached a point where we need to add flight crew bases in Milwaukee to make our airline more efficient and to support the flying out of Milwaukee," said Kevin Healy, the company's senior vice president of marketing and planning, in the statement.
"These new Milwaukee jobs further demonstrate our commitment to Southeast Wisconsin."
