Murder Suspect Jailed on Million Dollar Bond
WAUKESHA - Darren Wold is accused of plotting to have his ex-girlfriend, Kimberly Smith, murdered so he could gain custody of the couple's 4-year-old son. JS Online reports Wednesday afternoon, Wold was ordered to jail on a million dollars bail. That's just a day after he was extradited to Wisconsin.
Two other suspects in the case, Jack Johnson and Justin Welch are still awaiting extradition.
Investigators believe Wold had Johnson, a lifelong friend, hire Welch to carry out the killing.
