Cudahy Municipal Judge Accused of Misconduct

By Jon Byman

MADISON - Wisconsin's Judicial Commission has charged Cudahy's Municipal Court Judge with judicial misconduct.

Judge John Zodrow is accused of allowing a backlog of more than 1,000 cases to build up.  According to a report in the Journal Sentinel, Zodrow is accused of saying that he'd let some of the cases sit idle "until hell freezes over."

Zodrow has held the part-time post since he was elected to it in 1999.

According to the report, Zodrow has been refusing to adjudicate parking tickets for the past six months because the Police Department cut off the court's access to the Department's computer system.
