Could Barrett Telecommute as Wisconsin Governor?
MILWAUKEE - If Mayor Barrett ever decides to run for governor, could he govern from Milwaukee if he were to win the election?
The Journal Sentinel's Dan Bice says Governor Jim Doyle and other top Democrats are suggesting to the mayor he could govern from his home in Milwaukee if he were to run and win the election next year.
Barrett, who has four children ages 10 to 17, told Bice he would never take his kids out of high school.
According to Bice, the mayor says he will announce a decision, or send signals indicating what he will do, before Thanksgiving.
