Major Summerfest Act Announced

MILWAUKEE – Summerfest officials have announced Bon Jovi will perform at the Marcus Amphitheater on July 5 as part of the 40th anniversary of the World’s Largest Music Festival.

New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi are still going strong after two decades. Fronted by lead singer, guitarist and namesake Jon Bon Jovi, the band has sold more than 120 million albums worldwide. According to a press release, the Summerfest performance is likely to include many of their hit singles, such as “Livin’ On A Prayer,” and “You Give Love A Bad Name,” along with their newly released single, “(You Want To) Make a Memory,” from their June 19, 2006 release "Lost Highway."

Bon Jovi has released nine studio albums, including multi-platinum discs like 1986’s "Slippery When Wet," 1988’s "New Jersey" and "Crush" in 2000. The band recently won a Grammy Award and a People’s Choice Award for the hit, “Who Says You Can’t Go Home.”

Tickets go on sale Saturday, March 31 at 10 a.m. and will be available for $90.00, $80.00, $65.00, and $40.00. This price includes Summerfest admission and facility fees.
