Obama Heading to Wisconsin
MILWAUKEE - Officials with the Obama administration say the President will head to the Madison area next week. Obama's expected to give a speech on education November 4.
The administration says Obama's speech will cover ways to improve America's education system. No word yet on where the event may be held and whether the public will be allowed to attend.
Education Sec. Arne Duncan has been talking a lot about racial achievement gaps lately but Obama's staff has not said if Duncan will be on the trip. Milwaukee Public Schools have one of the largest achievement gaps for big urban districts in the country.
