Man Shoots Wife Before Turning Gun on Himself
MILWAUKEE - A man is dead and a woman injured after he shot her before turning the gun on himself.
The incident happened in the 8200 block of North Celina Street on Milwaukee's northwest side at about 11:00 a.m. Sunday.
Police told TODAY'S TMJ4 HD's Melanie Stout that the man, 40, shot his wife in the leg, but she was able to get out of their house to go to a neighbor for help.
She is expected to survive. The man then took his own life.
The woman, who is a teacher at Riverside High School, had two children who were believed to have been inside the house when the shooting happened.
