WAUKESHA - Waukesha County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man for OWI after he was injured in a crash alongside I-94.

A Sheriff's spokesperson said that the driver, a 38-year-old man from Delafield, was injured in a rollover crash near the freeway west of County Highway SS just before 10:00 p.m. Sunday evening.

According to the spokesperson, the driver was going eastbound on Golf Road, the north frontage road of the freeway, when his vehicle crashed through a safety fence.

He then apparently drove the length of about a block on the grassy area between the fence and the guardrail to the freeway before the car overturned.

The man then went to a hospital for facial and other injuries which were determined to be non-life threatening before he was arrested.
