Bomb Squad Called to Bank

MILWAUKEE - The bomb squad was called to the M&I Bank at 83rd and Silver Spring Tuesday because police say a man dressed as a woman robbed the bank and left a suspicious package.

"My sister and I were walking from our vehicles and we noticed guy dressed as a woman walking with a book bag and I'm like 'Hey look at this guy! He's dressed like a woman,' says one witness. "We had no idea he was going to rob the bank."

Employees evacuated the bank because of the package and Milwaukee's bomb squad rushed to the scene. Police blew up the box inside the bank, but didn't find a bomb.

Police searched the area for evidence and are still trying to find out more about the suspect.
