Corrections Officer Charged With Providing Cell Phone to Inmate
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office has charged a corrections officer with conspiracy to deliver illegal articles to an inmate.
Milwaukee County Sheriff's Department Corrections Officer Christina Moore, 33, is accused of providing a cell phone to an inmate in the Milwaukee County Jail.
"This is a slippery slope," said Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke. First it's a phone, then illegal narcotics and weapons. We are vigilant in our watch for this."
If convicted, Moore faces a maximum sentence of 3.5 years in prison and $10,000 in fines.
